The following is the drive time policy of the Driving Academy:

The Certificate of Driver Education to get the driver’s education permit will be issued when full payment is made.

Drive times will be scheduled once our office has a copy of the driver’s education permit in our files.

Drive times are scheduled on a first come first serve bases. You can schedule into the slots we have available.

You will be charged $50.00 for each missed drive time. There are no exceptions. The $50.00 for the missed drive time will be paid before the student can drive again. If the student is to miss another drive time due to failure to pay you will be charged another $50.00 for each additional drive missed.

In order to cancel and reschedule a drive time you must do so 24 hours in advance and you must call 534-0016. The number in the phone book is to the Defensive Driving Department and will not be accepted as cancellation.

No sandals or flip-flops, absolutely no open toed or healed shoes are allowed.

If the student fails to wear the proper shoes the drive will be canceled and you will pay the $50.00 missed drive time fee.

The student must have the most current picture copy of their permit when they drive.  Without the permit, you will be charged $50.00 for a missed drive time.

If the student is more than ten minutes late for a scheduled drive time it will be treated as a missed drive time.

If the student is unable to meet the skills required during a drive time that drive time will be repeated at no additional charge. If the instructor feels the student needs more time in-between drive times the drive time schedule may be changed.

The sixth drive time is not the drive test for their license.
